There are precious few things more boring to watch than sanding. Not that it’s so boring to do… in fact one must guard against getting bored and losing focus because that’s when you’ll miss something. And this is how I spent the day today. Going over everything, inside and out, every detail; looking at and feeling it all as I sanded. All done by hand.And now it’s done. There is no point in tacking them off just yet because more dust will settle out of the air over the weekend. Sanding dust is very fine and will stay suspended in the air for hours. I’ll clean them up on Monday and set up to shoot them with lacquer.
